  STANDARD END-USER INSTALLATION

SCOPE OF WORK

1. DISH ASSEMBLY AND MOUNTING: Assemble satellite dish and mount the dish on an outside wall of the dwelling with the satellite dish hardware within a 100-foot cable length of the personal computer (PC) to be enabled with the satellite Internet service.

• In the event that the satellite dish cannot be installed on an outside wall, the satellite dish installer will recommend an alternate mounting method/location. Upon the end-user accepting the alternative location and costs associated (if any), the end-user will be responsible for direct payment to the satellite dish installer for such work

2. MATERIALS INCLUDED: Provide up to 100 feet of RG-6 coaxial cable and provide the hardware necessary to mount and ground the satellite antenna

• Adequate mounting hardware, weather proofing, and grounding materials will be used by the installer

3. CONNECTION TO END-USER PC: Connect only one (1) PC to the satellite antenna by connecting the RG-6 cable to the F-Fitting on located on the satellite Internet service hardware that is connected and installed onto the PC. The physical connection of the satellite Internet service hardware and installation of the software is to be performed by the end-user, unless otherwise agreed upon between the end-user and the satellite installer.

4. ROUTING OF CABLES: All coaxial cables will be routed from the satellite dish to the end-users PC on the surface of the dwelling. The satellite dish installer will penetrate the exterior of the dwelling and pass the coaxial cable through this penetration into the inside room where the end-users PC is located.

5. ALIGNING OF SATELLITE DISH AND SIGNAL STRENGTH: The satellite dish installer will be responsible for the alignment and pointing of the satellite dish antenna and adjust the LNB to insure that the maximum signal is being sent to the satellite Internet service hardware installed into the end-users PC. Peak signal is determined by reading of at least sixty-percent (60%), as displayed on the end-users PC through the satellite Internet service hardware already installed in the end-users PC.

6. BASIC TROUBLESHOOTING: The satellite dish installer is responsible only for the steps #1-5 and not the installation of the satellite Internet service hardware and/or software. In the event that the satellite Internet service hardware is not operating correctly and not providing a signal strength reading as defined in #5 above, the end-user is to contact the technical support department. The installer is not responsible for assisting, nor obligated to assist, the end-user with the troubleshooting of the satellite Internet service hardware and/or software.

7. Standard Install WBIA will charge the end user $150.00 for a standard install. Additional work or materials required are to be negotiated between the end user and the installer.
